Ericka Catanzaro Interior Designer San Francisco

Every home tells a story — a visual narrative shaped by life’s cherished journeys, memories, and cultural experiences. Guided by this philosophy, Ericka treats each project as a collaboration, blending client's personal preferences with refined style. Her mission is to provide turn-key homes that are visually striking yet comfortable for every-day living.

In 2016, Ericka founded ECID and quickly built a loyal client base throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work is defined by a seamless blend of classical and modern influences, creating spaces that feel both elegant and timeless. With family roots in New York and California, she draws inspiration from the sophistication of city life as well as the ease of the countryside. Influenced by design icons such as Albert Hadley and Billy Baldwin, Ericka’s signature style marries Manhattan glamour with the sunlit warmth of California living.

Through her experiences, Ericka has acquired a deep understanding for the design process. In Los Angeles, Ericka practiced under acclaimed designer Kelly Wearstler, followed by 10 years with San Francisco design luminary Martha Angus. With a double degree in Interior Design and Business Management, Ericka approaches each project with equal concentration on both aesthetics and project execution.

Recognizing that successful projects depend on robust collaboration among the client, architect, and builder, Ericka prioritizes nurturing these relationships. She remains deeply engaged in every aspect of the design process from the initial planning stages through construction and final implementation.
