In 2016, Ericka founded ECID and quickly garnered a loyal client base in the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Her aesthetic effortlessly merges both classical and modern elements, resulting in spaces that give a nod to the past, while looking to the future. Ericka values timeless asthetics, and dismisses trends to ensure client's homes withstand the test of time. With family roots in both New York and California, Ericka draws inspiration from the sophistication of East Coast design and the relaxed elegance of the West. Influenced by icons like Albert Hadley and Billy Baldwin, her style blends Manhattan glamour with the sunlit charm of California living.

Through her experiences, Ericka has acquired a deep understanding for the design process. In Los Angeles, Ericka practiced under acclaimed designer Kelly Wearstler, followed by 10 years with San Francisco design luminary Martha Angus. With a double degree in Interior Design and Business Management, Ericka approaches each project with equal concentration on both aesthetics and project execution.
Recognizing that successful projects depend on robust collaboration among the client, designer, architect, and builder, Ericka prioritizes nurturing these relationships. She embodies a team-oriented approach, ensuring that projects are both punctual and within the client's specified budget. Known for her methodical yet spirited approach, she remains deeply engaged in every aspect of the design process from the initial planning stages through construction and final implementation.
